Custer - Kitchen The challenge: This farm house, built in the 1910’s, needed the floor leveled before the kitchen could be remodeled. Correcting the floor required breaking the basement concrete and installing new footings, posts, and beams. Just a few of the unique features in this kitchen are the shaker style cabinets, an apron sink and a large window, which draws in the beautiful country view. These pieces also accommodated the home owners desire to keep the country essence of the home. This country kitchen was capped off with oak flooring, and a wood stove which allowed the home owner to continue heating as they always had, but within safety guidelines requirements, according to code. ![]() After
