South Hill - Entry Way

The challenge: The home owners wanted to move the location of their rear entry, enlarge their kitchen, master bedroom, add a master bath, enlarge another bedroom and bath. The aim of the project was not just to enlarge the house, but to remedy a drainage problem. The rear of the lot is steep, including a small upper level of yard, stepping down to the patio at the rear of the house where the drainage problem existed.

Details:To make room for the addition, the rear wall of the house was extended both on the main floor and 2nd floor. We moved the entry to the side of the house, duplicating the detail work of the original door frame.
