Custer - Entry Way

The challenge: This home is in the northwest corner of Whatcom county. It's location is unique because of the two streams that flow on either side of the property. Construction in this area required detailed negotiation and cooperation with municipal agencies.

Details:The new entry extends from mid-house. The brick barbecue was left in place with newly poured patio making more same level standing space. The new entry door is truly a work of art. The entry floor is warmed tile - a very pleasant welcome to home dwellers and guests when removing their shoes in cool weather.
