Custer - Deck

The challenge: The home owner wanted a hot tub incorporated with a deck positioned to view the stream and slope to the west side and opening to the yard and down to the stream on the east and south. He enjoys using the weather and age downed trees on his property and requested a wood burning heater for the hot tub. We are happy to report it works beautifully.

Details:Installing the wood burning heater for the hot tub went smoothly, including the access to the wood box from the top of the hot tub decking. The talent at Hudson Remodeling enjoys creating artistically patterened decking. Making the decking patttern coorindate with the shape of hot tub steps, shape of the deck itself and the slope of the ground was a challenge. The home owners, and we ourselves, feel it came together beautifully. We have since returned to install a paved area abutting the deck.
