Wrap Around Porch

The challenge: The home owners wanted a larger outside living area. They liked the basic construction of the existing porch, but wanted something they could see through easier. Peeking between the wooden slats of the rail was not their idea of enjoying their beautifully wooded backyard.

Details:Our solution was a rail using narrow metal bars rather than slats. This solved the viewing concern whilst preserving the necessary strength factor. Hudson Remodeling has worked inside this homke and also been back this spring to build a new car port.
