Sandy Point - Kitchen The challenge: Remove a very 1970's kitchen and with little available space, create more storage space and a wet bar. The wet bar solution was created by removing a 6' sliding glass door and installing a 3' entry door and adjoining awning window. The wet bar then fit under the window and the countertop and sink became part of the main granite countertop island. The storage issue was solved by converting an adjoining hall closet to a built in pantry and refrigerator space with matching kitchen cabinetry. A full tile backsplash polished this elegant kitchen. ![]() Details: Faucets are by Franke and they provide insta-hot water at the bar sink and cold, charcoal filtered, water at the kitchen sink along with the usual hot and cold water.
